This postgraduate level 7 Master programme will qualify you to work as a career development professional in any sector. It is professionally accredited by the Career Development Institute.

The teaching team are research active academics, involved in the creation of new knowledge and bringing the latest thinking to our students. At the same time, we have all done the front-line job, we all hold the qualification that we teach and we are constantly in touch with individual practitioners and employing organisations.

The course offers optional modules to build your expertise to work in strategic roles in Higher Education or within Schools and colleges.

We have 2 start dates,

  • January 2024- Fully online
  • September 2024- On campus blended

We strongly recommend that students with little or no prior experience of careers work should join the on campus programme.

The course can be studied either full-time - (1 year) or part-time (2 years)

This full Masters programme is 180 credits at Level 7 and includes an opportunity to develop your research skills through an independent research project where you choose a topic area of interest
