We have an exciting opportunity in our department for someone who thrives on providing excellent and creative support to academic staff and students, in the use of learning technologies.

In the role you’ll be part of a growing system administration team that plays an essential role in maintaining and developing our education and student-focussed products to support day-to-day learning and teaching activities and broader needs of the institution.

You’ll provide third-line support for the daily operations of a range of digital products which directly support teaching, learning and the overall student experience.

You will work with colleagues within our Education and Student Product area as well as a range of partners both internally and externally to develop existing and implement new products, with main focus on support, ease of use and scalability.

  • Works well with others, including first/second-line professional support services, academics and students to understand what’s needed and how we can continually improve our products and services to meet their needs.
  • Is a skilled and creative problem solver, works well under pressure, and ensures our products and processes are easy to understand and use.
  • Is always learning and developing their skills, can identify areas to develop and implement new techniques and approaches to improve outcomes.
  • Enjoys working in a highly collaborative environment and being part of focused multi-disciplinary teams.
