The role

We have an exciting opportunity in the Department of Automatic Control & Systems Engineering for two Research Assistants in Mechanical Engineering for Advanced Manufacturing Systems.

You will contribute directly to and play an active role in mechanical engineering, contributing to the digital manufacturing activities of the Department with the Airbus/RAEng Chair. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in CAS software for 3D modelling and simulations, using your knowledge of mechatronics, automation, fixturing, actuator design, and robotics to further the project’s goals and aims in a leading advanced manufacturing environment.

You will develop the chance to learn about advanced manufacturing’s research environment in one of the subject’s leading departments, working shoulder-to-shoulder with experts leading cutting-edge research.
