We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly practice, to complement our excellent nursing team at Doncaster Vets for Pets.

About us

We are in an excellent location, close to A1, M1 and M18, 10 min walk from Doncaster town centre. You’ll be joining a friendly team of 2 vets who are joint venture partners, 1 long term locum, and a new graduate veterinary surgeon starting shortly, 3 RVN's, 2 SVN, 2 VCA,5 CCA's, a practice manager.

We have recently extended through to next door, so we have a lovely big practice with its own dental suit and dental Xray, all the usual in-house goodies (Xray, ultrasound, ECG, in house laboratory etc), 5 consult rooms and 2 prep areas, 1 being for medical cases, 1 for surgical.

We are Practice standards approved and a training practice for student nurses. Our nurses are veterinary professionals and as such we ensure that they can fulfil their clinical potential. We have a team of talented Client Care Advisors to support the client journey, freeing up our Nurses to carry out their roles effectively and enabling you to lead and manage nurse clinics and perform schedule 3 procedures.

About you and the role

You will have the opportunity to use your nursing skills to their full potential including in patient care, theatre work and nurse consults.

You will help with the daily running of the practice to ensure a high standard care for Patients and Clients. Nurses are the heart of our practice and perform an integral clinical role in caring for our patients.

You must be comfortable with leading by example, have great communication and organisation skills and takes pride in working to a high standard. This is a Full-time role working 40 hour per week with a rotation of Saturday duties, hours can be discussed. A part time position can also be discussed and considered.

You will also be comfortable with undertaking all aspects of nursing in this role.
