The position is full time, 40 hours per week with 1:4 weekends with a day off in lieu and no OOH. RCVS and VDS Fees paid, 20% off PAH, Discount app, savings on various brands and retailers. Staff discount up to 35% for staff pets! and 20% for a friend or family member.

The role

We are looking for a passionate and hardworking team member who is friendly and likes to work in a team environment. Someone who has a keen interest in animal welfare and puts their patient as a priority. An all-rounder nurse who is competent at all nursing duties.

Our team consists of 5 vets ( and a visiting referral orthopaedic vet) 5 qualified nurses, three ACA's and 2 student nurses (all of whom bring a variety of experience and knowledge) and of course a supportive team of receptionists. Our practice has all the usual equipment and has been built to industry leading standards.

We encourage our nurses to do what they trained for; placing catheters, taking bloods, nurse consults, inpatient care, FNA's, radiography and schedule 3 procedures. We have nurses on ultrasound courses this year and encourage any further training which will improve care to our patients and use nurses skills.

What we offer

The salary offered will be dependent of what you can offer us. We offer a CPD allowance of a minimum of £500 which is not fixed and there is flexibility if you would like to study further. We encourage CPD and welcome any ideas to utilise your nurses skills.
