About the role
Join Sarah, Chris and their award-winning team at Kettering Vets for Pets. Sarah and Chris have an impressive 56 year’s experience with the profession and have supported many graduates over these years, so you are in very safe hands.
We are a super friendly, team centric, family feel practice based in the Kettering area. We are conveniently located for easy access to London, Birmingham/Midlands an hour or less away and have excellent commuter links throughout the UK. Superb villages in the surrounding area for those who prefer a village based home life over town living, with excellent walking and wildlife habitats on our doorstep, Northamptonshire is well known as Rose of the Shires. We offer a vibrant and fun environment to work in. You look after clients/patients, we look after you is very much our ethos.
Joining one of our network of UK practices, you’ll train on the job with experienced Veterinary Partners and Practice Owners, at a pace that works for you. We’ll find you a role that suits you, in terms of location and culture fit. You’ll be supported from day one by a dedicated Vet GDP Advisor, as well as the graduate and clinical teams, and online by 1,300+ vets within our clinical community.
You’ll also be able to take paid leave to attend the tailored CPD events we hold. The high-quality events we deliver as part of the programme usually comprise subjects such as practical dentistry, practical surgery, radiography, dermatology, cardiology, and more.
As you build your confidence in caring for pets and their owners, you’ll grow your own client base and see continuity of cases with the support of your wider team. You will have a phased approach to sole charge and better still, when you’ve finished the programme there’s a career waiting for you, either with the practice you trained at or within our wider community/network.
