About the role

As a Process Development Technician, you will play a crucial role in the development and optimisation of our manufacturing processes. Working within our dynamic research and development team, you will contribute to enhancing our production efficiency and product quality. This position is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic about problem-solving and eager to make a significant impact in a globally recognised company.

Key responsibilities

  • Assisting in the design and development of manufacturing processes for new and existing products
  • Conducting experiments and trials to test theories and improvements
  • Analysing data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process optimisation
  • Working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to implement process improvements
  • Maintaining accurate records of development activities and process changes
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Supporting scale-up operations from laboratory to full production level
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing issues
  • Participating in continuous learning and training in cutting-edge processing technologies

What you'll bring

The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering, materials science, or a related technical field, coupled with experience in a manufacturing or process development role. We are looking for individuals who are innovative, detail-oriented, and possess a strong analytical mindset.

Desirable skills and experience

  • Experience in polymer processing or materials development

  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma techniques
