What you’ll do

Our two-year programme spans our customer journey from Sales & Service to Marketing & Propositions. Your time on the scheme will begin with you getting close to our customers by working directly with our frontline and operational teams.

This customer-centric foundation will set you up well to go on and work with our propositions, product, commercial and marketing teams developing innovative award-winning solutions for our customers.

Your time on the programme will be structured as follows.

Year 1 - Commercial Operations

You’ll help us to deliver excellent customer service across all Consumer sales and service journeys. You’ll get invaluable frontline experience working closely with those directly providing a service to our customers.

Your first year will be spent gaining frontline customer experience and working on unique projects. Frontline experience will come in the form of hands on opportunities, as well as learning about our Vodafone values and products and services we provide.

The projects may include looking at broken customer journeys, evaluating our communications & engagement strategy for the frontline, improving customer experience, redesigning our knowledge management systems, looking at business resilience plans, improving governance and much more.

The projects will ultimately help in our drive to be #1 for Customer Experience and will give you the chance to build your network and increase your exposure by presenting back to Senior Leadership.

This role will provide plenty of opportunities, but the one thing that’s for certain is that you will be close to the customer and close to the action!

Year 2 – Marketing & Propositions

Within your second year role you will be helping us drive commercial performance through development of exciting new products and propositions or development of a marketing & brand strategy that has our customers firmly at the centre. Within your role you may be involved in commercial analysis for proposition and pricing initiatives, building and developing a proposition, or launching a product to market.

You could also be involved in owning customer journeys and ensuring end-to-end proposition delivery from creation through to launch. You may be working within our digital marketing team or our social media teams, taking responsibility for content development and customer engagement.

Your role could be within the Sponsorship team negotiating and working with exciting new Sponsors such as Wimbledon, British Summer Time (BST) and British Lions. Or, you might be in a role where you take responsibility for all customer communications and retention by working with the loyalty team on our VeryMe Rewards.
