External Affairs at Vodafone
In External Affairs, we build and protect Vodafone’s reputation. We are Vodafone’s voice to the world – as we manage our corporate communications and ensure that our valued customers know and most importantly, believe in what we stand for. It’s about forging relationships, managing our partnerships with government, and keeping us, our network, and customers secure. This team sits at the centre of enabling Vodafone to conduct our business in an ethical, transparent, and socially beneficial way.
What to expect
You will make an impact in a crucial area of our business, made up of talented individuals who specialise in things like corporate affairs, sustainability, regulatory, corporate security, and public affairs. The programme lasts for 2 years, where you can expect to learn from placements in areas such as, but not limited to, Government and Policy Engagement, External Communications, Regulatory, Sustainability and Vodafone Foundation.

Salary
- £32,000 + annual bonus. In addition, you will receive a sign on bonus of £1,000. Location
- All our roles are based in our London, Paddington HQ. Our blended working approach means you’ll come to your contracted hub location office as and when needed to get things done for your role and for tasks that require it, otherwise you will be able to work from home. As a guide, you can expect to be in the office 40% of the time.
Duration of Programme
- 2 years – two 6 month rotations, and one 12 month rotation.
What you need
- A 2.2 in any degree, although a related degree preferably in Public Relations, International Relations, Journalism, Politics or Sustainability is a bonus.
- Recently graduated – i.e., a bachelors or masters obtained or to be obtained between June 2022 and August 2024.
- You must also have the correct right to work documentation in place for the full programme duration. We do not accept the Graduate Route Visa.
