We have an opportunity for a Junior Data Analyst to join the Data Team at a high growth technology IoT connectivity provider to assist with driving and shaping the data vision and strategy.
With exciting periods of growth and acquisitions, there is a requirement to collate and consolidate data throughout the group into a centralised location to provide varied levels of insights and analysis to drive value and efficiencies.
Reporting into the Head of Data, you will assist with the implementation of the data strategy across the group.
Responsibilities include
- Report-making to help deliver optimal management decisions using the Power BI platform.
- Capture requirements and needs for business KPI and analytic reporting ensuring business needs are balanced with technical delivery capability.
- Proactively and collaboratively develop Analysis and Insight.
- Assist with creating, reviewing, and optimizing data models and queries within various platforms.
- Data cleansing activities to produce accurate and reliable data.
- Build, develop, and manage relationships with key stakeholders.
- Learn and work with multiple technologies implemented across the group including but not limited to Excel, Power BI, DAX, SSIS, SQL, Oracle & VB.
Skills required
- A love for problem-solving and the ability to learn and make sense of complex data.
- Willingness to learn new processes and applications as required.
- Be curious and self-motived with a problem-solving approach.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with others and work as part of a team.
- Be comfortable in following processes but also be confident to challenge these where they do not support delivery of the data vision and strategy.
