What does a Junior Post Producer do at Hogarth?

  • To be the dedicated Junior Post Producer within the Hogarth department servicing Producers within the department and clients from Ogilvy.
  • Ensuring the day to day production workflow is adhered to, defined, communicated and production standards are enforced
  • Ensure that the assigned projects are post produced to a high standard, delivered on time and within the agreed budget
  • Attend briefings with the client/ agency/ post production team to find out proposed scope of work, submit budgets, agree a quote, assign third party suppliers where required, coordinate edit suite time, track costs and manage project progress
  • Check and approve post production estimates and alert clients to extras they may have incurred in the post production department.
  • Be responsible for checking that all material needed to undertake a job has been requested and is on the system in the correct place
  • Play an active role defining problems, recommending solutions and establishing resourceful conclusions
  • Clock and soundlay masters and work with business affairs
  • Negotiate rates and liaise with outsourcing companies
  • Check that all work is reconciled correctly and comes in within the agreed budget
  • Continually define ways to increase client satisfaction and deepen client relationships

Requirements

  • Experience in a Post Production environment and knowledge of Premier, AFX, Sound, Grade, Flame, CGI etc
  • Have an in depth knowledge of Post Production including specs for TV. Cinema, Social, Clearcast etc
  • Experience dealing with agencies and agency Producers / Account teams / Project Managers
  • Results driven
  • The ability to support and solicit input from team members at all levels
  • The ability to develop long lasting client relationships internally & externally
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Pro-active not re-active
