Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking an Intern Development EMEA to join our team in London, UK.

The internship

The Intern Development EMEA will be working as part of the EMEA Development team, providing support on potential opportunities as well as keeping informed on market trends. The Intern will work individually and alongside Interns from other corporate departments on business-critical projects to provide support and resources in line with the strategic priorities of the EMEA division.

Responsibilities

  • Hotel Development: assist with general research, preparation of offers and pitches. Departmental admin and project evaluation.
  • Development Marketing
  • Assist with the creation of new and updating existing brand collateral as well as PR opportunities.
  • Ad hoc projects
  • Internship Group Project: all Interns will be involved in a business-critical project during their internship.
  • Support the employee engagement committee in organising activities/ initiatives under 3 pillars: People, Community and Sustainability.

Complexity scope and financial responsibility

The activities and contribution of the Intern Development EMEA will impact the performance of the business. They will act on behalf of the business to reduce risk by implementing company policies. They will be required to exercise sound judgment and integrity at all times to ensure confidentiality of protected information.

Experience and qualifications

  • Degree (or studying towards) in Hospitality Management, Business Management, Real Estate or similar field.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is essential; an additional language would be an advantage.
  • Must be a highly capable user of MS Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Organisational relationships

The Intern Development EMEA will report to the Head of Development North & West Europe. They will also work closely with the wider EMEA Development team.

Compensation and benefits

  • £23,000 gross per annum, prorated for the duration of the internship
  • 25 days of holidays per annum (accrued basis)
