We are looking for brilliant, multi-skilled, enthusiastic Junior Associates to join us on a 6 month internship. This is an opportunity to gain first-hand experience understanding of all aspects of the reputation and strategy research side of our business. You will be integral in supporting the smooth running of the business and the day-to-day management of research projects for clients. Although this internship is primarily focused on reputation and strategy research, there may be opportunities for you to get involved in other parts of the business too. We welcome and encourage applications from candidates who are under- represented in our industry.

Who we’re looking for

Our Junior Associates will be…

  • Making telephone calls to potential research participants and booking interviews;
  • Mapping clients’ stakeholders;
  • Conducting stakeholder research interviews and attending focus groups as a note taker;
  • Conducting background and desk research on clients to support proposals and marketing activities;
  • Checking data and proof reading reports;
  • Testing online and telephone surveys;
  • Charting research findings;
  • Assisting in the design of research studies;
  • Assisting in the analysis and reporting of projects;
  • Contributing to team discussions;
  • Undertaking general office administration, including processing charity donations;
  • Assisting in organising and analysing large datasets;
  • Ensuring data protection policies are followed, including completion of all relevant documentation;

It is essential our Junior Associate

  • Has an enquiring mind and a broad set of interests, including business and current affairs
  • Has an interest in learning how to use qualitative and quantitative research techniques to solve business problems
  • Has an excellent, confident telephone manner, able to run phone interviews with our clients’ stakeholders and liaising with politicians’ offices over the phone
  • Is a self-starter, with great organisation, time-management and attention to detail
  • Has excellent writing and numerical skills
  • Is happy taking initiative, learning new skills and putting forward their point of view
  • Works well in a team, has a can-do attitude and is ready to muck in
  • Loves solving interesting problems but can bring equal energy and enthusiasm to project management and administration tasks
  • Is confident using Microsoft Office
  • Is able to cope with competing demands and to prioritise tasks
