We are reinforcing our Electric Drive Control team by offering a 12 Month Student Placement (£18,500 per year) at Blythe Valley Park, Solihull starting in September 2022.

This engaging placement offers the opportunity to be part of the Electric drive Control Team who are responsible for delivering the motor control functionality for electric drives across the ZF organisation.

Your tasks

  • Contribute to the development of the electric drive control software and documentation
    • Model based code generation
    • Digital twin development
  • Develop tests to validate the functionality of the software
  • Support the wider electric drive team in problem resolution
  • Develop analysis tools for data processing as well as a tool infrastructure for continuous integration and process monitoring
  • Stay up to date with the latest development in modern engineering tools and ways of working

Your profile

  • Student in Electrical, Electronic engineering or related subject, having successfully completed at least 2 years of their degree course before the start of the placement
  • Good people co-ordination skills
  • Good attention to detail and a theroetical vision
  • Possess excellent communication skills
