Job purpose

The Compliance & Data Privacy Intern will support the EMEA CPG team working on a data privacy specific project that is part of the development of the ZOLL GDPR program.

This project involving the development of GDPR training materials for the different ZOLL functions operating in the EMEA region, is key for the continuous development of the ZOLL data privacy compliance plan.

The purpose of the internship will be to provide the opportunity to young talented professionals to work at a diverse and dynamic organization and get direct experience applying GDPR related principles to real life business needs.

Candidate profile

Advanced students of law, compliance, IT, Political Science, Economics, or related discipline.

  • No previous professional experience is required; however, it is required for the candidate to be attending the last years of a bachelor university degree
  • Knowledge of GDPR and different international data protection legislation
  • Knowledge of data privacy, data protection or data security aspects in Europe
  • Good skills using Microsoft tools
  • Fluent in English (other EU language is a plus)

Summary tasks description

  • Development of GDPR training material:
    • Identify all the different functions that operate in the EMEA region (from Sales, to finance, HR, marketing, among others)
    • Conduct interviews with key stakeholders and identify the different type of training needs for the different functions.
    • Develop a data privacy training matrix listing all the different data privacy topics that should be included in the training material for each of the functions.
    • Develop data privacy training materials appropriate for the different functions.
    • Translate these materials in English and UK

Note: the focus would be the development of training content (format and style could be later reviewed and discussed with CPG training manager)

Project final deliverable

  • GDPR training matrix
  • Table with the list of ZOLL functions and the suggested GDPR topics that should be included in the training decks.
  • GDPR training decks
  • Training decks (PowerPoint presentations) for each of the functions with the training content (according to the training matrix)
