The Zurich Summer Internship Programme is designed to provide valuable hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to the dynamic world of work. It is an excellent opportunity for students and recent graduates to gain practical knowledge and enhance their skillset in a supportive and engaging environment.

What's new?

This year, we have expanded the range of internship positions available across various departments, including investments, business change, finance, IT, and more.

Additionally, we have revamped our internship curriculum to offer more workshops and the opportunity to network with professionals across our business. You'll have the chance to learn from industry experts, participate in real-life projects, and develop skills that will set you up for future success.

Who are we looking for? 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate student to join us across our Business Change & IT where you will gain insight into what it means to provide change and IT services to Zurich Integrated Benefits and International Life.

Skills and experience

  • Strong academic performance in any discipline.
  • Naturally curious and inquisitive. 
  • Demonstrates empathy: being able to put yourself in other peoples’ shoes and to show care and concern for others around you. 
  • A problem solver, who is open to innovation and will challenge the status quo to get the best result. 
  • Strong time management and organisational skills. 

A bit more about what you will be doing

  • Plan change, manage supplier contracts, project office/ coordinate meetings and input into meeting preparation/minutes and including budget financials.
  • Design, and test solutions to applications & in house solutions. 
  • Help manage the impact of change within the business and its processes, customers, and people.
  • Communications and stakeholder management. 
  • Understand Zurich’s data retention policy and destruction policy with providing help on managing these within BD. 
  • IT helpdesk – time answering and fixing general IT queries.
  • Gaining an understanding on Project management, Business analyst & Project support roles.
  • Be aligned to a mentor and have the opportunity to rotate within and across these teams, building your skills and experience during your time in Change and Technology.
