Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate student to join us across our Legal Team where you will gain insight into what it means to be in-house legal counsel for a life insurance company and see a different route within the legal profession.

Skills and experience

  • Law degree or in the process of completing a law degree or course.
  • Strong academic performance in any discipline.
  • Naturally curious and inquisitive.
  • Paying attention to detail.
  • A problem solver, who is open to innovation and will challenge the status quo to get the best result.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.

A bit more about what you will be doing

  • Conducting legal research on laws, regulation and industry best practice.
  • Contributing to providing advice to the business on various legal matters.
  • Assist in the preparation of legal reports, advice, presentations and administrative tasks.
  • Support the legal team in managing matters, including gathering and organising relevant documentation, preparing summaries and assisting with collating background information.
  • Assisting in preparing legal training for the business.
  • Conducting regulatory tracking with the team.
