The Alfred H Knight Human Resources Graduate Programme is the perfect start for a graduate looking to develop their people management skills as they relate to an organisation and build a long term career in HR, payroll and L&D. It is an exciting time to join our department as it has grown considerably over the past year and plays an increasingly more important role in the decision making process across the business in the UK and globally.

Based in Knowsley, Merseyside, at our UK based Global Headquarters, the role will initially involve a two-year development programme that will allow you to perform to your best abilities. During the programme you will gain a breadth of experience across our HR team including working towards a people based strategic plan, considerable project work such as new IT systems and a move to a digital environment, support leadership, management, apprenticeship and other development programmes plus the opportunity to work on more traditional Human Resource case work.

About the HR Department

You would be part of a team that helps the business operate at every level as people are at the heart of everything we do. The HR team is growing and maturing to support the changes the business needs for the future. You will be part of this dynamic and agile  group and will have the opportunity to significantly contribute.

Required Qualifications and Work Experience

  • 2:1 degree in HRM, L&D or other business related subjects

Required Languages

  • English and other languages advantageous (e.g. Spanish, Mandarin, Russian, Japanese, French)

Travel Requirements

  • Travel as required both domestically and internationally.
  • Must have a valid passport and ability to obtain visas as necessary.
