We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Technology Graduate to join our team as an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA). While experience with Oracle databases is desirable, we welcome candidates with a strong foundation in database concepts or application servers and a willingness to learn.

What you'll be doing

  • Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database software and related products.
  • Design and implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for Oracle databases.
  • Monitor and optimize database performance using tools such as Oracle Enterprise Manager and SQL Tuning Advisor.
  • Implement and maintain database security policies and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate Oracle databases with other systems and applications.
  • Perform regular database maintenance tasks such as patching, upgrades, and migrations.
  • Document database configurations, procedures, and best practices.

Who we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Familiarity with relational database concepts and SQL.
  • Application server experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience with Oracle databases is desirable but not essential.
  • Knowledge of database administration principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Associate, Oracle Certified Professional) are a plus.
