In his final year reading History at the University of Exeter, Alex has done brilliantly to secure himself an exciting graduate role at the telecommunications company Sky.
Why did you choose this firm and this role?
Sky is a really exciting company with a lot of potential and this role gives me the chance to be at the heart of it.
What was the toughest part of the application process? And your favourite part?
Both the toughest part and my favourite part was the assessment centre. It was challenging, but it gave me an opportunity to see the company up close.
Were you surprised by anything in the process?
How welcoming and relaxed the assessment centres were.
What top tips would you give your fellow Bright Network members?
1. Research any company you go for and show your passion.
2. Don't give up if you don't get the job at first. Sky initially rejected me then came back some months later.
What was the toughest question you faced at interview?
How would you deal with an unproductive team member and what steps would you take to improve their attitude?
