Ryan | Life as a Content Creator at Quadmark

Book open Reading time: 2 mins

I studied theater and screenwriting in college. I’ve been writing comedy and performing since I was a teenager, whether it was sketch comedy, stand-up, plays, or musicals. I also spent 10 years editing boring internet news videos.

I’ve been with Quadmark since late 2018. First, writing videos, modules, and on-screen work for the content team in Chandler, Arizona, before transitioning to content work with clients like Google Assistant, Chromebook, and Android among others.

What is the culture like?

The Quadmark culture is unlike anything I’ve experienced at a company. We’re in a nice middle ground between working with big companies but still retaining that close-knit feeling you’d get with a smaller company. Everyone gets to shine in their own ways and we’ve found a way to work closely, support each other, and enjoy interacting together even across the globe.

How important is diversity/inclusion/accessibility to you and what is Quadmark doing in this space?

A great company is a diverse one where everyone is able to do their part. We create learning solutions for all kinds of people so it makes sense that we reflect that ourselves. I consider myself a pretty inclusive person but through Quadmark’s DE&I programs I’ve learned even more about what makes a company like ours, and the world in general, a thriving and safe place for all. There are always places for improvement and Quadmark continues to make strides which instils in me even more pride in my employer.

What made you apply to QM?

I got the opportunity to work with Quadmark while in a different position and I was really attracted to the organization and closeness they were able to establish through a remote job. Everyone was a breeze to work with and I could see myself at home in a position here. Since I’ve started my expectations have been exceeded and I’ve gotten to work on some really creative assets that I never imagined I’d be part of that were brought to life by extremely talented teams and individuals.
