About us

University of Leeds African Caribbean Society provides a home away from home for over 170 students. Our purpose is to educate, empower and celebrate African Caribbean culture. Our mission is to make our members more professionally and socially aware of themselves. We aim to equip our members with the necessary skills to succeed in the world by the organisation of more academic and career-related events (CV, cover letter help, etc.)

Our goals

Our committee will be dedicated to delivering eccentric and unique opportunities to develop and broaden your skills. This year we will be running a vast array of social and career events, speakers’ events, community projects, ACS Northern ball, sports tournaments, editorial productions and many more. There is something in it for everyone.
